The Ford intake for the Mustang 5.0L is developed to minimize air restriction and increase airflow way better than your stock system.
Our Mustang 5.0L intake system is made of fine carbon fiber with an enclosed airbox that protects the air filter from dirt. The purpose is to reduce weight and strengthen the heat isolation while carbon fiber is a low-density material with a very high strength-to-weight ratio. Mustang cold air intakes are engineered for maximum performance and efficiency.
