The S58 is an aluminum block with a spray-on iron coating on the cylinder walls. This allows the engine to have the strength and durability of a cast iron block, while still retaining the light weight and heat dissipation benefits of an aluminum block.

These pistons are a factory replacement and no modification will be needed such like; bore or hone.

These pistons are made by CP-Carrillo to our 5150 Autosport specifications using HD forging made of high-strength materials forged aluminum, which allows them to withstand the higher cylinder pressures and temperatures generated by turbocharging.

2000HP Rating

If the cylinders aren’t in a good shape, then sleeving will required.

Please note, the Pro-Xtreme Piston is engineered to handle up to 2000HP, however, the Standard Wrist Pin can only handle 800-850HP. To exceed 850HP, it is a MUST to use Heavy Duty pins.
